Adapted from the popular series of children's books by Kathryn Lasky, Guardians Of Ga'Hoole finds a group of barn owls facing an evil that wants to destroy their forest and so must fight together to keep their home.

While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father's favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd's jealousy has terrible consequences-causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole-Soren's only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

Legend Of The Guardians: That 'Owl' Film!!

LOTG (Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole) is a film about owls. Two of the main characters are two young owl's, dismissive of the story's / legends they are told about. But the 2 young owl's abducted and taken to serve in an evil brainwashed owl army! One of the owls must try and find a way to escape whilst discovering that the legends they were told may not be so far from the truth!
As you can tell by this brief description the story-line is a little sinister. Some younger children might get scared in places. Overall the film has a good story-line, great effects and great voiced overs. A good watch for the adults as well although some younger children did find it a little long winded. Overall LOTG is a good animated kids film well worth a watch. However, be warned as its a little scarier than films like Ice Age!

 Outstanding Family Film!!

This film single handedly makes you want to become an Owl, if you havnt already decided you want to of course.

Me and my girlfriend loved this film. The animation is outstanding and no expense has been saved at its outstanding quality. Its a great family film and only an hour an a half compared to most films being 2 hours or longer these days.

It will have you gripped to the very end!! Recommend 5/5
