This film is hilarious, it is a laugh out loud action comedy with zombies made better by Jesse Eisenberg performance which is brilliant. Another film to add to the collection

So silly it had me laughing out loud

I have just finished watching Zombieland and I have to say it is so much fun. I was laughing throughout and I'm pretty sure that I was watching it the whole way through with a silly smile on my face. That is how this film will make you feel because it is so silly, but so good at the same time.

The film doesn't have a lot going for it in terms of story, but what it lacks in it makes up for in laughs, acting, and chemistry. So much about it is fun that you forget the films negatives. The cameo scene steals the show, and one of the lines, their final lines in fact, is absolutely brilliant. The final scene at the theme park is also great and the zombies themselves look hilarious as well as slightly scary.

The four leads are brilliant together, especially Eisenberg and Harrelson. Harrelson has some great scenes when he takes out zombies, with the graphics flashing up 'killing of the week' when he makes a good take down.

I can't praise this movie enough. Don't get me wrong it isn't the best film out there, and isn't the funniest comedy but it is a hell of a lot of fun. People will state that it is an American rip off of Shaun Of The Dead which I agree it probably is. The director even admits that he wanted to make this because of Simon Pegg's zombie comedy. The point is it knows it is a slight rip off but doesn't take itself seriously enough too care. Shaun Of The Dead has a better story than Zombieland, but Zombieland is just as much fun. Watch this film and I'm sure you will laugh out loud a lot more than once.

It's movies like this that kinda make you wish that the entire world go to **** and be overrun by zombies PURELY so you can beat the crap out of them with baseball bats and make up silly rules. This movie is pure class. It's funny, smart and just one great way to kill a few undead hours.

TOTAL MUST FOR ANY ZOMBIE FAN

This is such a good film. It is funny, heroic and believable. If the world would be overrun with zombies then this is how things could turn out.

It makes me want for the world to be full of zombie and take them on, I would be like these guys (and girls) in the film.

May i just say way better then Shaun Of The Dead. it's funny and Entertaining a definitely one zombie movie to watch, although the only problem i found with the movie is that it didn't have a lot of zombie eating /killing in it. like other zombie movies but the humor makes up for it

A terrific and wickedly funny film!!!!

One of the best horror-comedies ever made. So much funnier than Shaun of the Dead and packed with a generous amount of gore and humour mixed up with horror and and some devilishly clever writing, Zombieland will no doubt please almost everyone who like a good black comedy/comedy horror film.

  Guuuuuuuuuuuuuurd Film

I enjoyed watching this film and it has quite a few few funny moments, it does take its lead from Shaun Of The Dead but is not quite up to the standard.

The acting is good and the cameo from Bill Murray was excellent but you cannot escape the feeling that the part played by Jesse Eisenberg was meant to go to Michael Cera as it is typical of the part he would play, worth investing 3.99 in though.

  LAND OF THE LIVING ZOMBIES

The horror-zombie genre has been done to death in cinema, but for what Shaun Of The Dead did with the genre in the UK Zombieland does for the genre in the US. And while not as good or as witty as Shaun Of The Dead and no where nearly as good as the hype (and my student mates) would have you believe, the film is still entertaining good fun.

In terms of entertainment the film provides us with some funny slapstick moments especially thanks to the cameo appearance of Bill Murray (Ghostbusters) and the rules for surviving in Zombieland, as laid down by Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) although the highlight of the film in terms of laughs is easily the uneasy buddy partnership of Columbus with Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson). In terms of the cast theres nothing special aside from the brilliant cameo from Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson who easily makes the film. Of the others Jesse Eisenberg is ok but Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin seem to be there more for as a plot convenience than anything else.

Overall, Zombieland is a decent enough film, with a few good laughs and some very interesting ways of dealing with Zombies, but ultimately its also a little disappointing especially if you have come to watch this film following all of the hype in which case I think you will be disappointed. Its good, but not great.
