This film shows humanity at one of its lowest points during the apartheid period in South Africa. This true biopic of the courageous activist Steve Biko inspires the fight and struggle for what is right, and his supporters' determination to stand behind him makes the movement against the racist reform even stronger. The cruelty, discrimination and inhumane life of coloureds during apartheid is laid bare here, and Attenborough's stark portrayal of this is incredibly emotional.
Powerful and Gripping Portrayel of Aparteid South Africa
