this film is funny,entertaining a must buy for all steve martin fans

It's a classic, you can't beat steve martin's old comedies. Just hilarious!

Yes, Steve Martin is in no way anywhere near as good at playing Bilko as the original Phil Silvers, but if you watch this without comparing them it is an entertaining film with many funny moments. Steve Martin's Bilko doesn't have the subtlety or intelligence of the TV version but I guess it is harder to build a character up in one film instead of a whole series. Fairly predictable but some class acting, including Dan Aykroyd, definitely worth a viewing.
