Paul Hogan's hilarious, endearing performance made 'Crocodile Dundee' the biggest box-office comedy smash of 1986!

Michael J. 'Crocodile' Dundee (Hogan) is a free-spirited Australian who hunts crocodiles with his bare hands, stares down giant water buffaloes, and drinks mere mortals under the table. But he's about to face the ultimate torture test - a trip to New York City. Beautiful and tenacious reporter Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski) gets more than just a story as the "wonder from Down Under" rocks the Big Apple to its core.

crocodile dundee is a true gem and a comedy masterpiece.paul hogan plays mick dundee who comes to new york and whilst there gets up to all sorts.the jokes might not be to everybodys taste but that they are cleverly done.paul hogan who co-wrote the film obviously knows what people want to see.but because they are australian based jokes some people might not understand them.overall a comedy classic not to be missed

That's not a knife, this is a knife.

This is one of the best films of the 80's, a timeless classic where it can still have me laughing 20 years down the line, Crocodile Dundee is a one of a kind character who you can't help but like, the storyline is good and will keep you watching, this film is definitley one of the best comedys of recent decades.

Top 100 DVD Reviewer

22 years ago the age of comedy changed when a small film about an australian crocodile hunter being put in the wilderness that is new york was released.. and that same 22 years later its still as funny and fresh as it was back in 1986.Paul hogan plays mick dundee, a free spirited aussie who hunts crocs with his bare hands, stares down water buffaloe, and drinks mere mortals under the table. this film is full of charm, wit and that feeling of the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.. original and brilliant this should def be owned in anyones collection. hogans real life wife (Linda kozlowski) co stars as reporter Sue charlston to get the story from the wonder from down under. 1988 sequel croc 2 was just as good with plenty of thrills again.. croc 3 is poor, but worth the watch out of loyalty to the franchise. overall croc 1 is ace and enjoyed over and over.

 Top 20 at least!

This is a one off type of movie. I love my transformers, scarface, snatch, troy, etc. but unlike them I can watch crocodile dundee again and again. You watch it and enjoy numerous times and each time you realise more and more how special the movie is.

This is the best of "culture clashing" movies: An "Ozzy" straight out of the "outback" with just the basic ameanities will show a totally different perspective of the fast paced New York City lifestyle.

Note: Crocodile Dundee 2: OK, Crocodile Dundee LA: Rubbish
