Amazing adaption of Wuthering Heights. I was totally into it from the start. I loved Heathcliff and the very passionate Catherine. The cast is brilliant and this version of Wuthering Heights would make Emily Bronte proud. Buy it.

I love this sort of thing but I was absolutely blown away with this. The cast was amazing from Sarah Lancashire (Nellie) to Tom Hardy (Heathcliff). I was completely drawn in and loved every minute of it. Tom Hardy's interpretation of Heathcliff was spot on and is exactly how I imagined him to be in the book. Buy it!

I thought this version was excellent. Having tom Hardy (ST:Nemesis) playing the lead role was a brilliant thought of the casting people. He is a fine actor and played his role well. He is the future of British actors and I hope he stars in many more movies/mini series.

 Best adaptation yet

This was beautifully done, Tom Hardy plays a very convincing Heathcliffe, this draws you in and captivates you totally you feel the pain Heathcliffe and Kathy are going through the greatest tale of love found then lost it has you weeping buckets by the end of it full maks to Coky Gieldroyc for bringing Emily Bronty's classic love story to life

I adore this book, and was more than satisfied with this adaptation, when i saw Tom Hardy was playing heathcliff i was dubious, but he is outstanding , truly captivating, even in heathcliffs darkest moment he is still charasmatic and appealing. The other characters are all well cast. would highy recommend to anyone regardless of if you have read the book or not.

 Brilliant!!

Having seen the stage play last year, and reading the book again after many years, this adaptation has a slightly different ending, but nevertheless brilliantly acted and as haunting and bitter sweet as it always was. Highly recommended, go out and buy it!!

Not as captivating as the book

Whilst this was not an appalling adaptation of Wuthering Heights, for me it didn't quite capture that magic that the book has. When I read the book, Cathy was a character that I loved, hated, pitied, envied...it could go on. In this adaptation I did not go through all those emotions and just ended up hating her.

 Wuthering Heights

This is a poor adaptation of the wonderful classic Wuthering Heights. Tom Hardy is feeble in the role of Heathcliffe and although Charlotte Riley is a believable Cathy neither come close to Laurence Olivier and Merle Obron's portrayals.
After reading the book, the story is etched in your heart forever, this modern disjointed adaptation leaves you cold.

 Absolutely Amazing!

I had never seen Wuthering Heights before, but i have always loved the classic stories, especially Wuthering Heights.
And this version tells the story perfectly. Tom Hardy portrays Heathcliff perfectly in every way (the good looks, the behaviour) he is a fantastic actor, and Charlotte Riley is superb at playing Catherine.

If you have read the book or love the story of Wuthering Heights, then this is a much-watch movie. I recommend to anyone and everyone to watch this.

I will definitely be buying this when it is released on dvd :D
