Robocop Trilogy Box Set

Love this film, hasn't been outdated. Excellent storyline, and good effects, also has a couple of special features, unusual for a film this old. Buy it now!

This was a nice boxset, but only one definitive Robocop amongst them. The first film is the best. The second is complete garbage in my books and the third is watchable fluff.
What they did was tone down on each successive film and I only really watch film 1 now.

The five star review is for the original Robocop movie not the two sequels. Robocop the directors cut is awesome and for this price worth buying the box set for. The new cut of the film is extremely violent and nasty in every way, loads of classic action and the story is great, worth every penny. If you do watch the two diabolical sequels then don't expect them to be half as good. Robocop 2 gets about three stars for violence and action, but has a stupid story. Robocop 3 gets one star for being so low budget; the effects are so bad and extremely cheap.

The first to films were 5 stars in my opinion and the third was worth watching peter weller was the best actor for murphy/ robo awesome affects and good action in all three films number two was especially good as caines cyborg was awesome must buy for robo fans

i loved the first and third film but the second one had a terrible ending a poor effects no way near as good as the first , imust say the third had a bad ending aswell

Original Robocop is very violent in particular at the begining. The second is also good and fun to watch but is more comical in parts compared to the first one. Peter WELLER does a great job in the first two portraying the cyborg cop who is hard as nails. The third film is OK but does not meet the grade of the first two films. Probably because Peter WELLER is not Robocop. This trilogy needs purchasing because there is laods of action, loads of firepower and I love ED209.

The first two of these movies will go down as classics, the first is brilliant as Clarence Bodicker takes on the cyborg cop and the fighting is great with a lot of violence, especially if you watch the uncut version of the first one. In the first film there is a part where Clarence blows Murphys hand off well in the origanal you never saw nothing but then in the uncut version you see everything, thats how violent it is. The second is'nt a patch on the first but it's still a great movie. But then comes Robocop 3 OH DEAR OH DEAR OH DEAR How can anyone replace the origanal Murphy. The guy that plays him is by far no where near better than peter weller. There is only one man that can play Robocop and its not the guy in the 3rd film. Thats the reason why its only got 4 stars from me all cus the third one lets it down.

A fantastic looking trilogy that looks great in any film fans collection! I remember watching the first 2 films in my youth and can only vaugely recall the 3rd film, hence my purchase. Any film fan knows the stories, so I won't waste your time. In short, Robocop 1 & 2 are true sci-fi classics. Robocop 3 is best forgotten...

well, what a great set of movies! at such a great price! goodness, if only the government were this generous!!!! any way, the first film was very gory, and very sci-fi, very high tech! the way murphy died, ohhhh! sick!!! the second one wasent as good, but still very cool!, enjoyable and watchable, quite funny when his memory is changed, so hes nice to criminals!! lol the third one was good too, but still, not as good as the first, i wouldent mind seeing a fourth one, with all the special effects we have these days! any way, highly reccomended! buy now!!!!! play.com is the best!!!

4 stars!? are you people mad?! getting these 2 brilliant films with a time wasting third one added for 9:99! i think this is worthy of a 5 star rating. This film is a classic, it will live on forever just like the terminator, worth a watch if you like good ole classics :)
