Watched this film a long time back and Really enjoyed it
Very good story with lots of Twists n Turns that keep you guessing as to what the final outcome will be.
It is directed with plenty of Style and Attitude and is peppered with quotable dialogues.
It has Great Cast headed by on top of his game Andy Garcia and supported by Christopher Walkden, Christopher Lloyd, Steve Bucemi and Gabrielle Anwar
One to watch at some point, especially for fans of the Gangster genre

Simply put, my favourite movie of all time! This blew me away! Truly!

'Denver' has it all! Romance, violence, comedy, intelligence, heart, soul, the works! It takes a simple gangster story and peppers it with such a realistic flair you are left gasping. Andy Garcia gives the performance he was BORN to play and EVERY OTHER ROLE is beautifully and perfectly cast!

Daring, dangerous, bold, brazen and unpredictable, 'Denver' is as good as Quentin THINKS he is! This is an education in masterclass film making. Enjoy the show! Unmissable!

I remember renting this during its realease and it was a film i enjoyed so much i wacthed it twice and was one of the more kind of gangster films i was looking for.
It has a great cast,a really unusual intelligent story and great dialouge so overall a really enjoyable mob flick that is'nt as popular as some other gangster films but i think its one you really need to sit through and pay attention to the storytelling because there really is alot of good acting and because it starts a bit slow its worth sitting through and get to know the characthers.

  Christopher Walken classic!

I've yet to see a bad movie starring this actor. The whole cast are brilliant in this very entertaining gangster movie.I haven't seen this movie for years and i've been meaning to add this to my dvd collection for ages.At £6 it's a steal!.On reading the back cover was pleased to see the sound is 5.1,not 2.0 as stated by the listing on this site.

This film is almost forgotten now adays and it annoys me that it is. Its an all star cast a smart script and nice directing. Andy Garcia is Jimmy the Saint who gathers his old crew back to gether to do one last job for easy money, but it all goes very wrong.... soon a hit man is after Jimmy and his crew and Jimmy only has 48 hours to put his affairs in order.

I loved it. I bought this dvd months ago and only got around to watching it last night. I was laughing hard at parts "I am Godzilla! You are Japan!" - hillarious. Nice chemistry between the cast as they talk of a past that you want to see. The writer has created a nice little mob world with its own slang and symbols...

A cut above most mob films with some real characters and great dialouge.
