Family Guy: Season 8 (3 Discs)

Was good, but not as rewatchable as the first few series.

OK so there is near the knuckle jokes and some swearing that was not around in the early series but so what it is still damn funny.

Season 8 is really good, loads of funny bits just like classic family guy. Peter v Christian Bale, Peter, Chris and Meg working on a cartoon etc. I left out the last star though because it has flaws, like there are too many times where they revert to old jokes. Not that using a past joke is a bad thing, it can work really well, but they use so many jokes they have previously used in this season. Also there are moments that just go on too long, like the conway twitty thing, which is always funny but with this one they play the entire song....

Still hilarious and worth buying, but not quite as good as previous seasons

This is a very funny family guy series. Lots of hilarious scenes. Would recommend!!

Each of the new seasons of family guy start out funny BUT as they go on They run out of jokes so they try "Shock tactics jokes" but they don't work . And thats what your getting with this season. Some funny stuff but mostly rubbish sick jokes. And it's a shame.

Absolutley brilliant season. Full of amazing episodes including one of my favourites 'I Dream Of Jesus' well worth getting for fans and new comers alike.

i think that this is a great show. but saldy this series is a downstep from the previous one's. basicly you can watch the episodes twice then after that they are not funny to watch anymore. still its a great show and a great series and i would reccomend that people should buy it.

this season of family guy is great but i couldn't say it was the best. this season wasn't as good as season 6 and 7 even tho my favioute episode is on this season. Still i won't let you down because it is a great season to have. I've good three season of family guy. If you want to get a season of family guy get this one becuase it's the newest one out. Some of the episodes i really liked on this season was "long john peter" "i dream of jesus" "baby not on board" "oceans three and a half" and my favioute episode "road to germany". Great episodes. Can't wait until season 9 comes out and i can't wait for cleveland show to come out, i've seen some of the episode to cleveland and so far so good. LET'S HOPE SEASON 9 OF FAMILY GUY WILL BE THE BEST!!

Yeah i know some of you are going awww how can he still think this is funny, you are thinking this isn't as good as season one or two while others are agreeing with my rating. Family guy visually is miles ahead of the earlier seasons but it seems like the writers are getting a bit comfortable and a bit lazy. Those killer jokes are becoming few and far between and the same joke is being repeated over and over like conway twitty . ? . it was funny the first time but there is a full song in one of the episodes and it isn't funny. It does have some gems of episodes like long john peter, the man with two brains and family gay but avoid i dream of jesus as it has one joke which is repeated over and over. Funny but not season 6(the best)
