Winner of two 1995 Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay, this masterful, atmospheric film noir enraptured audiences with its complex and riveting storyline, gritty, tour-de-force performances (including an Oscar-winning turn by Kevin Spacey) and a climax that is truly deserving of the word stunning. This "thoroughly engrossing film " (HBO) is so "gripping and diabolically clever" (The Wall Street Journal) that it becomes "a maze you'll be happy to get lost in" (Los Angeles Times)!

Held in an L.A. interrogation room, Verbal Kint (Spacey) attempts to convince the feds that a mythic crime lord not only exists, but was also responsible for drawing him and his four partners into a multi-million dollar heist that ended with an explosion in San Pedro harbor - leaving few survivors. But as Kint lures his interrogators into the incredible story of this crime lord's almost supernatural prowess, so too will you be mesmerized by a lore that is completely captivating from beginning to end!

Possibly one of the best thrillers I have ever seen- it's that good. Kevin Spacey and crew keep you guessing all the way, and so does the annoying question of 'Who Is Kaiser Soze?', this is a modern classic with so many twists and realisations. The best aspect of this film, which is incredible, is that you realise exactly what has happened AFTER the film has finished- that's pure genius. Must Watch!

 Not your usual thriller...

Often immitated, never bettered Bryan Singer's 1995 crime masterpiece is a film that should be watched over and over again. Once to marvel at the skill in which it is constructed. Again to view a cast of actors of the highest calibre on top form. Again to smooth out all the questions you may still have from beforehand. And again. And again. Better still buy the DVD with fantastic commentary, documentary, deleted scenes and much more. And then watch it all over again from the beginning....
A classic that will never been beaten...

This is one of the first, big twist movies and my gosh it is a good twist.
The acting is amazing, the story is amazing and the want to go back and watch it again is amazing.
I have had this movie for years from vhs to dvd and now on Blu-ray, so you see for me to buy it on VHS, DVD and then BLU-RAY you know it must be good, and well worth a million views.

 One of the best ever!!!

Spacey is amazing in this film, when i saw him in american beauty i thought one of the best acting perfomances ever and his personal best, this was on par with that performence. at no point in the film was i not on the end of my seat. I WOULD PAY £20 TO SEE THIS, SO AT £5, IT'S A STEAL!!!

One of my favourite films of all time, The Usual Suspects delivers. The plot and twist make it worth watching, and it is high up in the list of "Films To See Before You Die" Kevin Spacey's performance as Verbal Kint is fantastic. An absolute must watch. Its not a film that you have to watch all the time, but its a classic for bringing out when the mood strikes
