When brothers Mikey and Brand learn that greedy developers are forcing their family to move, they and their friends decide to have one last, precious adventure together. With the help of a treasure map they've found in the attic, the group, known as the Goonies, go in search of buried gold hoping against hope that if they find it, Mikey and Brand will succeed in keeping their home...
Please note: this DVD edition of 'The Goonies' features a slightly extended version of the film which includes a couple of short scenes that were trimmed for the original UK release! These scenes have raised the certificate to a '12' rating from the original 'PG' certificate.

The Goonies is a Richard Donner film about a family whose house is going to be knocked down if they cannot get enought money to pay for it. So their children Mickey and Brand and the rest of the Gonnies decide to go and find One eyed Willys tresure. They come across booby traps and many other obstacles! But will things go to plan and turn out happily ever after? This film should belong in everyones collection as it is thrilling and gripping. The screenplay was written by Chris Columbus from a story by Steven Spielberg.

How can you not like this film? I hadnt seen it for about 10 years (maybe more) and still laughed my head off, it's definatly uncut which surprised me. A must have in anyones dvd collection particulally if you grew up in the 80's

One of the best kids movies ever!!! Action packed, funny everything you could want in a movie. I used to love it when i was young but it is just as awesome now!!! A must have.
