Sister Act (1992)

This is a great comedy. Brilliantly put together. With a storyline that just draws you in. If you are looking for a family film, which will have you entertained and laughing throughout. This is for you.

Sister Act is a superb comedy film that is great for all the family to watch. Whoppi Goldberg plays the lead character who witnesses a mob murder and has to go into police hiding with nuns at a convent.
Goldberg being a larger than life lounge singer from Reno of course stand out like a sore thumb and what follows is a side splitting story. Charged by the head nun Maggie Smith to help the choir find their voice Goldberg soon turns the out of tune choir into her version of Diana Ross and The Supremes.
The film has an excellent cast with Harvey Keitel Bill Nunn and Katy Najimy backing up Whoppi in this classic 90s movie. The film has something for the whole family and is superb family entertainment.

This film is really well done. This unsuccesful Las Vegas singer who smokes and everything gets into trouble with her mobster boyfriend, so goes into police protection, which ends up meaning living in a convent with nuns. At first she's distant and hates it, but later learns to like everyone and makes some friends. She also turns the dull, lifeless choir into a hip one which makes the church more popular with young people. It's serious when it needs to be, and humerous when it should be. Even though I'm young I really enjoyed this 'oldish' film. It's really an enjoyable movie for a friday night with a big bowl of popcorn.

This film had me laughing from start 2 finish.Whoopi goldberg is a fantastic actress and every 1 of her films is amazing and funny.This is a film which u can watch ova and ova again,worth buying!!!!!!!!
