A superb illustration of Britain in post-war 'go to do better' mood. Takes a sharp look at both sides of 'them and us' and finds them equally unpleasant. Could easily be made again today with few changes (except we don't have factories any more).
If you can live without a car chase and gratuitous swearing this might just appeal.
Oh, almost forgot - Terry Thomas is simply blinding as the HR chief who cannot stand the lower orders - 'a shower' - and mocks their predicament. Excellent performances, good script, top drawer actors, just long enough for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
