5 "I'm the baby, gotta love me!"miniminty | 21/06/2009 | See all miniminty's reviews (66)I loved watching this show whilst I was growing up. Every Sunday afternoon, after the roast dinner, the whole family would sit down to watch it. All the characters are hilarious, especially the baby, with my favourite catchphrase,"Not the mama, not the mama!", whilst hitting his Dad, Earl Sinclair, over the head with various blunt instruments, such as frying pans & food mixing bowls - basically anything he could get hold of!And now, watching it as an adult, I like the subtle proppaganda (similar to that used in Happy Feet) about saving the planet, the way we are ruining it and the effect chopping down trees has on our environment and the animals that use the forest as a natural habitat. I think it's a good way to get the message across to children. It was such a shame when it ended and, apart from the odd repeat over the years, it virtually disappeared until recently.Unfortunately it is only available on region one but, in my experience, most UK DVD players I have owned will play American DVD's, even if it isn't specified in the manual. The least you can do is try!A fab show that is suitable for young children, as well as teenagers and adults alike. Everyone loves the Sinclair's!!!
