I Have Looked At The Other Persons Review On About It Taking Ages To Turn On & That's Quite Wrong, With Any Bigger LCD TV They All Take Abit, Even Sony Bravia. The Pictures Outstanding & When Using A PS3 Through It While Playing A Game Such As "Calling All Cars" It's Damn Ace. The Picture Is Bright & Smooth & Even Though It Can Get Dusty Quick, It's Black Gloss Finish Gives It A Cool Look With The Metal Strip Across The Bottom. I Have Had This TV For About 3 Days & Am Very Pleased With It, The Controls For Setting Up The Picture To Tune In BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV & CH4 Are Easy, Once Done There Easy To Store Too. Overall 10 Out Of 10. From The 1st Review Made About This Product The Sound Quality Has Improved & Is Loud On TV Or DVD's Played. Hope This Review Has Helped.

ive now had this telly for a few weeks and have taken full advantage of all the inputs, have watched HD and SD films, SD telly and computer games.

ive made a list of the pros and cons below

-awesome picture in full hd,
-VGA input, 3 HDMI inputs,
-visually stylish

-SD picture is poor,
-Picture set-up takes a very long time
-Very slow to turn on,
-cant select a different input on remote you have to scroll through each one in turn, which takes ages when you got 8 inputs
-very hard to keep clean

overall if you want to watch HD movies and play an xbox 360 or PS3 this telly is very good.
if your mainly going to watch SD pictures, stick with your CRT television

Like many other people I decided to look into HDTV's before I bought one, and I was well impressed with what I seen and heard about this particular t.v. (Reviews from play.com also helped).

Setting up wasn't a problem at all and the auto tuning was a breeze. Standard definition through a high definition t.v. was a concern I had when considering buying a HDTV. After setting up the t.v. I seen the quality and wasn't impressed with what I saw but after playing around with the menu settings (Movie mode I found looked better) the picture quality increased a lot.

Blu-ray movies and the play station 3 are meant for HDTV so you can imagine the quality is fantastic, Also I played the Blade runner final cut DVD through my PS3 and the quality is really good so know need to rush out and replace your DVD's just yet. One thing I will say is be careful with what size screen you buy and consider how close you will be to the screen, the bigger the screen the further away you will have to be to truly appreciate the T.V.'s quality.

The true surround sound is really good. Obviously not as good as high spec, high priced surround sound but it's not bad when you consider you cannot even see the speakers.

I was wandering about warranty so I phoned play.com and was told the warranty is 28 days with play.com and a further 12 months with the manufacturer, just in case you guys were wandering yourselves.

Basically this a fantastic purchase for a great price, you will find this is the cheapest place you can buy this t.v. so what are you waiting for!

Quite simply a superb tv. Did quite a bit of shopping around when it came to this tv and I am very happy with the purchase. I was concerned initally with possible sound issues as reviews I had read for other samsung lcd's seemed to illustrate a lack of quality of sound. Reading reviews for this lcd certainly helped me to make this purchase. I certainly have no complaints so far and agree with other positive comments. Picture and sound is also excellent when playing on my Xbox Elite. Great HDMI connectivity (3xHDMI) which is useful for when I make my next purchase of a Blu-ray/ HD-DVD player. Note: currently, this tv is £900 is other electrical shops! Also, thank you play.com for delivering this so quickly.
