The IPS Alpha panel, which is known for its wide viewing angle and excellent light transmittance, is now further enhanced with a bright, energy-saving LED backlight. The IPS Alpha LED LCD offers superb contrast and also contributes to the display's slim design.

LEDs achieve high brightness with low power consumption. Our next-generation, high-efficiency LCD was created by using an LED for the backlight and combining it with the IPS Alpha panel, which features high light transmission efficiency. By maximising inherent device advantages, we have achieved highly robust black reproduction while using less power.

Innovative Panasonic 200 backlight blinking Intelligent Frame Creation Pro technology brings the moving picture quality of high-end LCD TVs about as close as they can get to perfection. 200 BLB IFC Pro's innovative approach combines 100Hz processing with 100 cycle backlight blinking technology. That means you have a much clearer, sharper and more detailed picture with smooth-moving objects and no artifacts - moving picture quality that has never been seen before on LCD TVs.

VIERA Connect allows users to enjoy video and music, sports, games, and a variety of other content in addition to the standard movies and TV programmes on a high-quality large-screen TV through the simple operation of a remote control. The cloud-based Internet service also supports interactive services using applicable equipment as well as an Internet-based shopping function that allows such equipment to be purchased straight from the TV.

You can easily record your favourite TV programmes, films and other content onto an external USB hard disk drive. Recordings can be easily controlled using VIERA's remote control.
