Sony KDL-32S5500 Bravia S Series 32 inch HD Ready Freeview Widescreen LCD TV

I was concerned about buying this TV at first due to its lower dynamic contrast ratio of 25,000:1, where the 26" sony V4000 had one of 35,000:1, and was the same price(but smaller). Though when reading up reviews on the V4000, i found out there was people complaining of motion blur. This read, I opted for the larger TV and haven't regretted it.

There has been no problems with motion blur with this TV. I mainly use it for my PS3, connected via HDMI and it looks amazing. Metal Gear 4 looks so good, great picture and amazing sound.

Arrived very quickly, 2 working days, and great packaging.

TV also very easy to set up and comes with stand.

Would highly recommend this TV and its at a great price.

I was given this TV by my insurance company as a like for like replacement. I had had my previous Sony for 3 years and was great. This one has a grainy picture when watching SD freeview. The EPG is rubbish and you cannot even program a show to watch latter, even my £15 freeview box in the bedroom can manage this. So disapointed that I have now gone out and bought a Panasonic Plasma. More expensive but worth it.

Bought this from a large supermarket for the bedroom. Owned it now for about six weeks. Had no issues. HD quality is great, on a par with my more expensive Panasonic plasma. Previous reviews have mentioned grainy Freeview. I discovered that this had to do with the settings the TV is shipped with. Just turn all of the eco mode rubbish off and enjoy!

The only little niggle has to do with the EPG. It is a little basic and a little slow, but is more than good enough.

If you are thinking about it, just buy it!

Ordered this TV from Play.com on Monday and it was delivered on Tuesday! Very pleased with it and the service from Play.com. Picture and sound are great and linked up to my Xbox 360 the picture in HD is amazing. Highly recommended.

Picture quality is fab, watching Casino Royal on bluray was amazing. PS3 games look amazing on this TV.

Works good with SD signal, virgin channels look better than on my old sony TV. Shame it can't really deal with black and white images, (begining of casino royal was grainy, but perfect when in colour)

What else to say? sound is clear, better than I was expecting as the internet is full of reviews saying that speakers in lcd tv's is bad due to the lack of space. Its good and loud (enough for me atleast)

i doubt you can get better value for this little, I was tempted by the samsung, but this came with the 3 year guarantee (maybe worth about £30) and a free £15 bluray.
