OK, so you're getting 1080p for £200, there's a catch right? Well, there are three:
(1) There is slight backlight bleeding at the top and bottom of the screen, but no more than you'd expect with an LCD screen.
(2) The viewing angle from below is poor - with the TV on a stand and you on the floor, you won't be able to see a thing.
(3) The speakers are a joke; although you do get optical output and a headphone socket, so it's fairly easy to remedy this situation.
Despite these faults, the picture is still excellent - and it's the cheapest way you're going to get the best out of a Blu-ray player.
I ordered mine yesterday morning and it got here today its a great tv, ive plugged my ps3, xbox 360, sky box and my pc into it it works fantastic all i needed to do was plug it in and there was no problems, picture is fantastic and so is all the settings that you can pick from, £199.99 for a 1080P HDTV is a massive bargain, im already thinking of getting another 1 so i can have it in the other bedroom, i recommend this tv to anyone.
Just purchased this a few weeks ago and I think it's amazing for the price. Full HD and wonderful picture that's look better than some more expensive models. Can be wall mounted but I think apart of the stand is still attached so may look a it daft.
Bought this TV for the bedroom.
Pros.
The picture quality is very good.
Set up is simple and I had it running in under 10 mins inc installing the stand.
Looks superb.
Tilting screen so we are looking up at it mounted on drawers and pics still perfect.
Lots of inputs and outputs.
Cons
Biggest disappointment for me is the sound and I am already looking at attaching external speakers and here lies the reason it loses a star in the review.The manual does not detail how to attach external speakers...I've looked on the net and this is confusing.
PS The stand IS NOT a problem to either attach or detach I found it simple.
Great TV But should have better sound for the price.
Had this tv for christmas and it is truly an amazing little tv, Full HD superb picture quality and it's cheap. As many have said there is only 1 HD port and the sound is not the best, also someone said that the blue light showing that the tv is ON is quiet annoying, this is not an issue as you can go into the tv settings and simple turn the little light off. Overall a very good buy no complaints at all
