Simply brilliant! Fantastic value and fantastic picture and sound. Normal DVD's look so sharp on this player as well. The set is so quite and very quick to load. I recommend this to anyone wanting a good quality cheap blu-ray play!
Got this on a one day sale from Play.com with a further 16pounds off the normal price. Great value. Arrived speedily but the packing could have been better.
Connected it up in a matter of minutes direct to the TV after buying an HDMI lead which is not included. Player is quiet and loads very quickly with on screen instructions clear and easy to follow. Blu ray DVD`s give stunning picture quality and even standard DVD`s picture quality much improved. A snip at the price for a Panasonic product. For a straight forward 2D blue ray player this is great value.
Blu ray player looks good but is it quite? answer no ,but no where near as loud as sony blu ray player (you can hear a fan noise plus disc pitch noise ) will see how it settles down or will have to put it in cabinet out of ear shot otherwise ok machine ,plays disc clear as blu ray should be.
this is easy to set up and the picture is brilliant and the big bonus is play from memory stick and it also plays mkv files would definitely recommend for the price.
With some discs (e.g., Game of Thrones), the player itself occasionally locks up, requiring it to be unplugged at the mains. After many expensive phone calls (Panasonic customers services is an 0870 number) it was sent back to Panasonic, who kept it for 11 weeks, then returned it unfixed. And charged me for the postage.
Save yourself the hassle and steer well clear - buy a Sony or Samsung player.
