Logic3 clears the decks with the outstanding SoundStage 5.1 surround-sound home theatre system, designed to dramatically and affordably compliment your state of the art flat panel television screen. This all-in-one surround-sound marvel produces mind-blowing sound from its 15 speakers, and is certainly not for the faint-hearted!

The Logic3 SoundStage measures over a metre in length and is styled to impress. Blasting 150 watts RMS output, it is certainly not a product you'll want to hide away in a corner!

Amplifier with Digital Decoder

The integrated amplifier applies the necessary equalisation required in the compact wooden cabinet and powers the fifteen high fidelity stereo speakers to provide a room filling sound. Specifically tuned for easy listening, it provides an enhanced listening experience with its rich tones and crystal clear highs. No need for additional amplifiers or cables as this all in one unit is the complete home theatre sound solution.

Surround Sound System

The SoundStage also incorporates SRS 3D technology this widens the area of sound so that the music is not concentrated into one small area and makes it sound more as if you were listening to it in an open environment. Furthermore it is designed to lift the sound up near your head, something needed when speakers are generally placed at waist or ankle level. SRS brings out the higher end tones, providing more clarity and detail, as well as a more realistic listening experience.

Integrated FM Radio

The inclusion of an FM Radio is another integrated feature that this system offers. You can store up to 20 common FM frequencies, which are displayed on the LED panel. Scanning and storage functions can all be administered via the remote control.

Connectivity Made Simple

This all in one unit truly makes connectivity simple and is ready for use straight out of the box. The SoundStage does away with the need for complicated wiring and installation and has been designed for ease of use. The SoundStage features 2 optical, 2 coaxial and an analogue RCA input to connect to your TV, DVD or any other external device. The FM Antenna which is included allows users to enjoy crystal clear FM reception.

Multi functional Remote Control

Convenient operation of the SoundStage is assured thanks to its multi-functional remote control. Adjust volume, input selections, sound balance, FM radio scanning and all the desired sound options from the comfort of your armchair at the touch of a button.

Acoustically Engineered Wooden Cabinet

Whilst turning heads with its contemporary design, the SoundStage has been acoustically engineered to deliver full audio enjoyment of the cinema experience.

Designed With Simplicity in Mind

This all in one speaker system has been developed with simplicity in mind. No need for individual front, centre and rear speakers, cabling or additional amplifiers. This compact and stylish unit can also be wall mounted with the brackets provided or simply placed on a TV stand or cabinet. The design of the unit is elegant, practical and more versatile than most multi speaker systems. With its innovative styling the Logic3 SoundStage is an elegant addition to any living room setting.

Top 100  Reviewer Top 10 Electronics Reviewer

Hey all, since there are no reviews anywhere of this thing on the net (only information), i thought i'd be kind and leave you my thoughts. I'm not an audiophile and not an average comsumer, but i am a HD geek and am purple (meaning i have both Bluray and HDDVD), to give you a rough idea of my background and love of audio/visual.

Review: This thing is huge, it's wider than my samsung le40m87bdx. It looks beautiful, the shiney piano black finish is only on the front panel, not all the way around the unit. There is a simple power on switch on the side and the connections on the back are very simple and it took me under 5 minutes to unwrap, plug everything in and set up. Included in the box are a composite cable, an RCA audio cable and 1 x optical cable. I made the mistake of opening the 2 optical cables i'd bought before looking thoroughly in the box.

The remote control is thin and light, very simple to understand and the layout is pretty basic. You have individual controls to raise or lower the volume for each speaker and the sub. The range is from +10 to -10. You just change them manually on the remote. It is easy to switch between the different inputs as the buttons are at the top of the remote.

Performance? It rocks! I've got both my 360 and PS3 hooked up via optical cable. In terms of whether it is better or worse than 5.1, it's neither. It's just different. Let me explain the best i can and i'll use Star Wars as an example. With normal 5.1, you can hear the tie fighter approaching from the (right) rear and moving towards you and then off in a front (left) direction (as it passes over you). From my experience with the soundstage, it sounds as though it is approaching but the sense of direction isn't neccessarily as clear. You just know it's coming towards you from the right and off to the left, but it sounds as though it is in the room with you and not coming from a little speaker behind you. This is what i mean by the direction not being as clear. Because it's a more natural sound that fills the room, you can't tell that it is coming from any one particular speaker, it just sounds like it coming from somewhere over to your right.

I also watched transformers HDDVD on it last night and it sounded incredible. The music and sound effects filled the room and since the idea of the sound stage is to bounce the sound around the room, it does a very good job of living up to it.

I guess what i'm trying to say is that the soundstage and the way it is designed (to bounce sound off the walls) makes everything sound as though you are in the room with the action and it sounds more natural.

Oh and you can switch between 5.1 and 2.1 and can tell the difference so it does produce 5.1 from this soundstage.

I give it 5* because it does exactly what it says on the tin. It fills the room with all 5.1 channels of sound to make the audio feel more natural than artificial. A no brainer in my opinion for anyone who (a) doesn't want the hassle of wiring and speakers around the room or (b) doesn't want to fork out on an expensive surround system but doesn't want to buy a cheap and nasty system.

N/B: This review is based on my setup, the acoustics of my room, and my opinion of the soundstage and some audiophiles might not fully agree with my review.

If you are looking for 5.1 without the clutter, buy this!!!!

I am really pleased with this purchase from Play.com. If, like I was, you are looking for a system for a normal living room without all of the extra wires & speakers then look no further than this system.

The most important thing to remember & this has to come first: this does not replicate a dedicated 5.1 system & that is obvious as the speakers are all in front of you & in one area BUT..... It does give an excellent cinema soundtrack to any DVD or HD DVD which is pretty similar. I have my Soundstage hooked up to the Toshiba HD-EP30 HD player & the Matrix, for example, blows you away. The lobby scene still makes the bullets fly around your head in your living room, it's just not as pinpoint & more of a surrounding feeling. Put it this way, it sounds better than the dedicated 5.1 Philips HTS3154 system that it has replaced in my set up & that wasn't a bad system!

The noise levels are clear & there is plenty of quality sound (the subwoofer is powerful enough for any normal to large front room).

It was ridiculously easy to set up & it took about 5 mins from unboxing! It really is very neat & tidy, albeit large, & this was the remit from my wife.

There was an optical cable supplied as well as RCA which was an added bonus. Here lies my only minor gripe, on the spec listed by Play it states that the Soundstage can decode DTS. My EP30, according to the manual, should provide multi channel audio via optical to an AV that can decode DTS. However, the Soundstage does not play audio from the EP30 in multi channel, it defaults to 2 channel. It will do 5.1 via 2 channel though & the system sounds amazing in 5.1 (2 channel) so don't let that put you off. I may be wrong & I have e-mailed the guys at Logic3 for clarification re: DTS.

I use the theory that if this is the type of system you're shopping for then you wouldn't get any difference in the multi channel anyway so its not an issue really.

I reckon that for under £200 you'd be hard pushed to find a better stand alone 5.1 unit that is of such a high quality, sounds this good & ticks all of the boxes for a good home audio set up without the clutter. As the reviewer earlier suggested I give this 5 stars simply because if this is the type of set up you need it's perfect for the job!

This really is a nice piece of kit. First things first, it comes with everything you will need to connect and mount the system, including optical cable, phono cable and wall brackets. which made a change from the normal!

It is no lie when you read the reviews already written stating it was up and running within 5 minutes. i had it out the box and mounted on the wall fully setup and ready to go in less than an hour. I have to mention how awesome it looks monted underneath a LCD screen here. It really does look impressive with its wide array of different size speakers all facing aggresivly towards he centre of the room.

I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of sound quality, however, for a £200 system i am very, very impressed. The sound is crisp and clear with deep, loud bass and a decent midrange. Doesen't really reproduce actual 5.1, however it is definatly distinguishable from a 2.1 setup.

The only bad points i can think of really are well, pretty non-existant. if i were to be picky, i would say that the remote is slightly low quality in comparison to the rest of the components and i would have rather had a blue display than an orange one, but now i am being anal.

To summarise, this is really worth the money and you will not be dissapointed if you parted with £200 for it.

 Awesome for what it does

Bought this system about 8 months ago and have loved it since,i use it as my tv speakers as my tv ones lack BASS which this system has on tap! when i play call of duty i have to have the bass on -5 ass the room shakes.

plays films really well and does sort of throw the sound around the room to give the effect of a 5.1 system.i use it with my ps3 which i have music on and its class for that too!!

The only flaws on this system is when i mounted it on the my wall it doesnt leave much room for the cables to be connected in the back! i had to use the optical cable which was supplied in the box which is ..ok but i did go out and buy some decent ones which wont fit so if ur mounting it and having loads of inputs look out for this, ive only got 1 optical lead and the fm antena installed ,thats the only thing i think is awkward about this system.fm radio is good also. hope this helps anyone :-)

I have wanted a surround sound system for a while now but was not keen on all the wires running everywhere.
This system is huge and i've had to get a bigger tv unit to accomodate it.
I have plugged both Xbox360 and SkyHD thru optical cables (so easy and clutter free) the sound is great but like the previous reveiwer its in the room with you but the direction is not 100% perfect but impressive never the less.
Its got a great look with or without the speaker cover but friends noticed it more with the cover off. Typical comments were "Wow whats that".
Remote is clear and comprehensive with lots of options to choose from to get the sound you want. 9/10
