an awsome revolution in portable music!

the ipod has revolutionised the way in which we listen to music! people may suggest that sony etc make better quality mp3 players, but to be honest, who cares? ipod are the first, the best and the most technologically advanced! iv had my nano for 2 years and i ouldnt imagine going back to that 'creative' sack of unreliability that i previously owned. you cant help feeling like you've bought the second best or that mp3 player is just not good enough, unless you have an ipod!

 Good MP3, Bit Pricey...

Top 100 Electronics Reviewer

Dont get me worng this is a great price of kit, but i think for £10 more you can get 22GB more space and video, but i really do like think product so if you dont have many song you need to put on and you wouldnt use it for videos, then buy this product its great! just watch the price. GOOD BUY!

 Very poor indeed

Had 3 of these and all had to be returned. hte battery life is dismal and they kept crashing and losing songs stored on them.
When contacting to complain and request a replacement or a refund after less than one week, I was advised to take what should have been a brand new and fault free product in to get it repaired!!!
Very poor and dissatisfied from start to finish.

Cons: It has a BAD memory in that it can erase tracks willy nilly. They have flooded the market with thier fast produced and vast tecnnology which meant that other more reliable and better qualityproducts such as i-river did not really get a chance in uk so relied on the us market. Personally as someone who like to download, share & change around files - I find this the least easy to use. No instant file/host downloading a pain.
Pro's: Yeah its cute, its neat, its lightweight, the battery life has improved a little from older ipods, its widely available, reasonably priced, lots of accessories available, but to be honest get the new i-pod 30gb video/photo its better.
Believe me or not, I own many mp3/4 players because i am a muso.photographic, movie nut, the sound is loud on all of these. However, it is worth a try just for size and style. i-river still best but bulkier.
