Philips SBD7500 / Fidelio iPod/iPhone Docking Speaker

Ordered as a gift and turned out to be a great piece of kit. Battery or mains power so easy to move around the home. Arrived with a power supply fault so returned for replacement. Doesn't stop this being a good purchase.

I recently purchase philips docking speaker. I was browsing this website. Normally I look at customers reviews 1st. I took chance on it.
It very powerful and valve for money. Great to travel with or just to having at home from room to room. Excellent purchase

I got this to listen to quiet music at night while reading, and also to run my sleep machine apps.

This this looks great, has a small footprint, and charges the phone 4 nicely while I sleep.

There is a specific music player app you can get for free to go with it, but it works with the stock music player on my iPhone 4 and all the sleep machine apps I use, as well as inTune Radio for internet streaming stations.

I pumped up some dance music to see what the sound quality was like and it wasn't bad at all for a product of this cost, and size.

Included carry case is handy, as is the ability to put batteries in and use it without having to plug it in.

Does look nice too, but haven't given it 5 stars due to the lack of a volume remote control, but considering it is actually on my bedside table that is a really lazy thing to mark it down for, but I am doing it anyway :)

I've had this product replaced twice now and both times the speaker has been fine the first few days (good sounds quality, easy to use ect.) however it decides not to turn on after those few days. And obviously then the speaker is no use to anyone.

Disappointed.
