I have compared this dock to some of the more expensive ipod docks available and there is no difference in sound quality. The speakers look cool and they go very loud. The bass is exceptional. Well worth the money.
I read numerous reviews for all sorts of units for the girlfriends G5 Nano and was being very very picky in all honesty.
Eventually I settled for this unit. It turned out to be a fantastic buy. Over 20 pounds cheaper than your High Street stores and worth every penny of the current 47.99 price tag. Its very intuitive. It knows when the ipod or phone is docked and also when it isn't, switching itself off when its removed.
I have used my iphone in it aswell as the nano with no issues and it also charged its too which alot of small units do not do.
I'm so impressed with the Logitech that I am thinking of purchasing another model for my iphone. I think the system is also GSM protected so you can use an Iphone in it without the annoying beeping..but don't quote me on that.
Overall very impressed, and if your like my girlfriend and dont listen to the lowers, mids and trebles in great detail you'll have money well spent. If you are abit more finnicky then at high volume you get a little bass distort if yo have changed your EQ on your Ipod/iphone...other than that, fantastic.
Retro design, simple, remote included, for the money what else could you really want..to take it with you on a trip maybe... Well you can do that do. Car trip somewhere would be good, a little too big for your case to the Carribean though I feel.

For the price and the size these have a brilliant sound. We listened to all sorts of alternatives but these were by far the best. Good rich sound with impressive bass. Also with good 'quality' look and feel. OK not super portable but round the house fine. Added bonus of a clock (nice display) and remote control. You won't find better unless you pay a LOT more!
Got these from another web company for 40 pounds from the carphone house...I have to say I've had a couple of sets of iPod speaker but these have to be up there with the best .there also compatable with the iPhone as the speakers are shielded . I would recommend these superb iPod speaker
This was well worth the £50 i spent on it, its a nice sound, and it comes out from the front and back making it spread around the room, its not amazingly loud but its loud enough for a bedroom in my opinion, it has replaced my alarm clock also.
