The case comes in a slightly excessive packaging design but otherwise reasonably unremarkable. The actual case itself however feels very solid and well made and has a nice feel to the touch.
There is even a nice design in the "inside" of the case which is fabric which you cannot see in the picture - although you won't often see it as your iPod will cover the inside, its a nice touch and makes it feel high quality.
It fits my iPod (160GB new Classic in black) and looks great. Its very slimline and doesn't add a lot of bulk to the iPod, and has a cover over the screen. The wheel is left uncovered which I much prefer as have had bad experiences with cases which cover the wheel (always doesn't feel quite right to me).
Access is left for the dock at the bottom, and headphones and hold switch at the top. The iPod will still fit in most docks (fits in a Creative iTrigue my wife has) with no problems even leaving the case on. I have also left it on in the car with an FM radio transmitter thing and an in-car charger with no problems.
Overall I would say this is a very nice and stylish case, it has a nice quality appearance and feel, and offers a nice "business" respectable look for the user.
