This provides some much needed extra protection for the 2G iPod Touch. I always try and be careful with mine (not putting in a pocket with keys etc), but it still has a couple of little scratches on the screen, so this was a good purchase.
As well as the rubber-esque cover for the back and edges, this comes with a cover for the screen, which allows you to view and use your iPod touch as normal without even noticing the extra layer.
Worth pointing out there is a black version of this (which I didn't realise until I'd ordered the white one).
Does exactly what it should do, all round protection for an expensive piece of kit, which needs it.
case looks tacky and screen protector was bent / creased on delivery so unable to to apply to ipod without it pealing up on the bottom edge.
