Unique ZINK technology: no ink needed for the Polaroid PoGo Printer, only these magic photo papers.

The heart of this new "ZINK" category of printing is the ZINK Paper. The patented ZINK Paper is an advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals, activated with 200 million heat pulses, in 30 seconds, in a single pass. With 100 billion crystals in a 2 x 3-inch print, the paper is 100-percent inkless. A ZINK-enabled printer uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals.

These offer great value for money at 21.4p a sheet in this 70 pack compared to 26.6p per sheet for the 30 pack and a whopping 39.9p per sheet for the 10 pack. Seen them on other sites for just a bit more so very good value on play.

As a scrapbooker, I asked for the pogo as a christmas and soon my 10 pack that came with it ran out, so i ordered the 70 pack as it was far better value for money. When it arrived back in January (I believe) I was very frustrated that I had literally weeks until the expiry date on the pack and knew I'd never use it all up in time and debated on sending the pack back.
Instead I stuck it out, I kept the pack, using it for mini scrapbooks on the go, for my journal by snapping pics and sticking them into my journal and writing around it.
The expiry was back in February (although the box said end of January!) and even now in September just as I am using up my last couple of sheets, I have not found any loss of quality in the pictures I am printing... granted, the pictures are not the best of quality as it is, but it's preserving my memories and that's what counts for me!
So I'd say buy this pack, purely for the savings and I have found that even 7 months on from the expiry date, my paper is just as fine as it was before, and am so glad I never sent it back!

When is the new stock coming in??

I love this product and I did a lot of on-line research before buying what could be considered a gimic. Through this research I have found that the "best before date" is required by European Law on this product. But Polaroid have confirmed that the paper if kept in correct conditions does not expire.
I love the retro look of the colours on the prints, so don't expect professional quality. And great value for money a little over 14p a print if you shop around. And the fact that its sticky backed paper was a stroke of versatile genius.
