Limit IP-CR100 / Apple iPod Docking Station Alarm Clock Radio / Black

I'm at a loss to explain some of the poor reviews for this product. I've been using mine for a week or so now, and it's excellent. Sound quality is clear, it charges my iPods fine (I have a Touch and a Nano), and it's not too bright next to my bed (some clock radios are so bright they keep me awake). I used to have a much more expensive speaker dock, but it broke. This one sounds at least as good, has a clock radio as well, and costs less than half the price. Also, it seems to be fine with my friend's iPhone as well - it shows a message about not being fully compatible, but as long as the phone is switched to offline/flight setting, to me it sounds exactly the same as with my iPod.

Edit: I've now tried it with iPhone 3G and the new 3GS and can confirm it works fine in flight mode. It also works perfectly with the latest Nano and Touch. If you find your particular model of iPod doesn't fit perfectly with one of the supplied inserts, use the one that came in the box with your iPod - that's what it says to do in the instructions! Also, if you find the remote doesn't work, make sure you have removed the plastic battery protector.

I have the previous version and like it very much. My only niggle with it is the LCD is very bright. There is the option to dim it but stil it is very bright. You can even switch it off but then you cant see the time in the middle of the night with out pressing a button. Was wondering if the display (back light) on this one switches off but still allows you to see the time?

got this dock yesterday, its great, works iphone 3gs and ipod touch, great quality sound

I bought this to replace my speakers and clock. It's the best dock i've had it has 2 alarms and when changing music track the remote can be used at a distance of about 7m away and still work. Commenting on some other reviews i've seen. One was about the dimmer it has 3 settings off / half / full brightness and can de changed by remote. the other is the alarm it needs to wake people up by being loud (like heavy sleepers) plus the night before you can set what song you want to wake up to. Overall i can't believe it was cheaper than my previous speakers alone--- well worth buying

Bought this last week when it had shot down to 14.99 - great speaker - smaller looking than the photo - perfect for my Ipod Touch 3G - happy to recommend!
