The music is streamed as lossless data, so there is no loss of sound quality from compression. And since there is no disc drive nearby, mechanical operating noise won't interfere with your enjoyment.

The slim body of the compact stereo system makes it ideal for setting it onto a shallow shelf or mounting it to a wall. A new Auto Sliding Universal Dock creates a slim, stylish appearance. Featured on 2012 models, it allows easier docking and undocking of iPod and iPhone.

The distortion that is commonly generated by the scattered reflection of sound from surrounding surfaces is dramatically reduced by noise canceling with digital signal processing to reproduce highly pure sound.

By installing a Remote Control App onto your iPhone or iPod touch, you can easily operate your HC57 by simply tapping and flicking on your iPhone or iPod touch. In addition to the remote control functions, you can also use screen operations to open the main unit's door, and to adjust the equalizer and other settings.

Digital music connection of an iPod or iPhone also allows the compact stereo system to process music signals in their original digital form. This eliminates sound degradation caused by digital/analogue conversion and during transmission. Allowing the users to enjoy their favourite iPod tunes with pure sound that is highly faithful to the original.
