DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) digital radio is a new way of broadcasting radio, in addition to FM analogue transmission, via a network of terrestrial transmitters. It provides listeners with more choices and information delivered in clear, crackle-free sound quality. The technology allows the receiver to lock on to the strongest signal it can find. With DAB digital stations there are no frequencies to remember, and sets are tuned by station name, so there is no retuning on the move.

This DAB Clock Radio from Philips looks great on my bedside cabinet, its a decent size, so does not clutter things up, the design is modern and stylish, and build quality is very good.

I was impressed with the sound quality. This is a really good Clock Radio with DAB for under 50 quid.

Recommend.

Arrived very quick and well packaged. This is an excellent Dab Clock Radio. I especially like the fact that you can set the alarm for Monday to Friday and it knows not to go off on Saturday and Sunday - bliss! I also like the nifty little trick when you switch the light off the display fades to an acceptable level and then gets brighter as dawn breaks - very clever. The set up instructions are easy to follow and the large display is great - no more straing to see the time at the other side of the bed! I would highly recommend this product.
