Pure Digital Move Portable DAB/FM Radio

Ideal radio for the modern person, with clear and crisp dab digial music and fm tuner. Fits nicely in your bag. With a full charge will last for upto 24hrs. What more do you need.

This radio is good, but not perfect.

GOOD POINTS:
- Small, light and compact
- Great battery
- Great screen
- Great reception
- Really nice metal finish
- Excellent power consumption

BAD POINTS:
- The flip stand positions the radio almost vertical, so it falls over with the slightest knock. It should have been designed to lean further back to make it more stable.
- The central dial performs five functions (previous station, next station, volume down, volume up and select) however it is so small and fiddly that it's really easy to click the wrong function. ie. change station when you meant to change volume. It would have made much more sense to have a separate rotary dial on the side for the volume controls.
- The power on button needs to be held for 5 seconds. I have no idea why - My other Pure DAB radio doesn't. It's quite annoying.
- The volume jumps up in large increases, making it hard to find the perfect volume.
- The sound is a bit tinny. Not surprising for the size of the radio, but it isn't the best sound quality.

In the end I returned this model for the PURE ONE Mini. In my opinion a much better radio as it doesn't have any of the negative points above.

This is one of the best portable DAB radios available.

The sound quality is very good from a portable, it also has an EQ, to adjust the tonal quality, it is very sturdy on it's little stand in the horizontal position, as it's meant to be, another good point, for people carrying it, in there pocket, is that the on and off button has to be held in for about 5 seconds, great feature, to stop it switching on or off in your pocket, when you don't want it to.

Great reception, and the display is very good too, well recommended.
