Denon AH-D510 Closed Stereo Headphones / Black Overear

These fit (my head) great and are really comfortable even after extended periods of listening. However...I bought a pair of 310's and in a straight audio comparison the 510's just aren't quite as clear and defined. The 310's are much brighter sounding.

Additionally the 510's seem to have an audio balance problem - the left channel is slightly better than the right) which leads to a slight 'off centre' feel when listening. This may however, be a problem with my pair (and I'm considering getting them replaced).

Range wise they cover everything from dubstep to classical with ease. I've put a wide range of music through a variety of devices (A/V amp, iPhone, iPad, PC) and they work very well - other than the previously mentioned niggles.

They are a fine pair, and I will still recommend them (and at the price paid - 23.99 - who couldn't). Just I seem to prefer the clarity offered by the 310's.

Had this a few days ago and I must say I'm really loving it. The sound is amazing and you could hear every detailed sound, the only down side is that it feels a little flimsy and you need to take care of it otherwise any little thing could break it. But apart from that i would recommend anyone to go for it and a price like this, why wouldn't you!

I got these just after Xmas. I bought them because my current ones sufferend the one ear of death issue. Previously I had full size DJ monitor headphones. These are a little smaller than that but are bigger than Skullcandys.

The ear cup is comfortable for wearing for long periods and the noise cancellation is very very good. I only use mine for gaming but they could probably be used outside due to the noise cancellation.

The only issue I found is that the standard cable length is very short. They do include an extension cable but the extension is complete overkill and about 5x longer than the stanard cable so its one extreme to the other.

Also the bass is acceptable but isn't great. It performs best in mid-range and due to this they are great gaming headphones.

They do take some time to burn in though. At first they are very dull and flat sounding but after a week of use they will be at their best.

Definitely recommend. If you haven't heard of Denon before then basically they are a company that produce very high quality audio solutions, primarily surround sound amplifiers.

I have these headphones almost one month. The sound is brilliant, clear and with a good amount of bass. You can hear your favorite music as loud as you want without distortion. Of course there are a lot better headphones out in the market, but you have to pay 100+ pounds at least. At this price (23.99) these are definitely the best you can buy, so buy them before its too late. In comparison with senheisers 201 and 202 which i had them in the past the are more comfortable and they have better sound. If you had these sennheisers and you want to upgrade to a better headphone without spending a lot of money Denon AH-510 will be the best option. Regarding the problem that AaronBaker1981, mentioned in the previous comment, i confirm that they make that creaking noise specially in the beginning but after some use there's no noise at all. I hope my review was helpful.

For 15 quid, I can't fault this one. Perhaps a bit light on the bass side, and the creaky noise where they connect the speaker to the overhead arch. But very good value for the money I had to pay.

By the way, I doesn't have an in-line volume control, which would be nice for users like me.
