Sony MDR-XB21EX / In Ear Headphones / Black

Barely used these headphones. They stopped working in one ear after I owned them for about four weeks and a day, just long enough for me to be unable to return them. At least a week and a half of that was spent waiting for them to be delivered. Utterly useless and a huge waste of money. They sounded alright I suppose, before they broke. I would warn anyone against purchasing these.

At first I was like what the hell, these are rubbish and was disappointed especially since i have owned several sony headphones over the years and know they do put out great quality for the price. After flipping through a few songs the quality got better and better they probably needed some bedding in.

These do not have as much bass as i was expecting, i was concerned that it might be too over powering like the sony groove headphones from a few years ago but these seem to have just the right amount.
The best thing about these headphones is the clarity of sound, it never struggles to play the bass and the treble simultaneously so every snare and symbol is heard while the bass is going on, all this while the vocals are clear.

Super light unlike other in ear headphones i have had, these feel like there is nothing attached to you, you can't feel them hanging off your ears. There are a range of buds that come along with it but I didn't need to change mine but there does seem to be a good variety if needed. The buds are super soft creating a great fit. Another thing is the angle of the fit in to the ear, it some how feels like its taking up less space so when you lean your head on something you don't feel like your earphone is being rammed into your ear.

I would recommend these headphones and not just because of the price but it does help, 5 stars.

Had similar Sony ones to these and these are lighter so better for the gym. Solid and discreet, really amazed by the sound quality and - not sure why people spend so much on these deliver quality just as good!

If you're looking for bass, these are as good as it gets for the price. Sony isn't joking with the 'extra bass' tag here. The rumble and depth of the bass is sick.

Would definitely say these are comparable to much more pricey headphones. Play.com has a long delivery time though which gets frustrating. All good though.
