Sennheiser RS 110 Wireless Headphones (RS110)

Used a few wired headphones before but decided to go for a wireless one because the cable always get tangled up in the chair's legs.

Build quality is great, the frame doesn't rattle at all, the headphones are lightweight.
The best thing about them is how comfy they are. With the previous headphones my ears always started to hurt after a few hours of continuous use or I got this burning feeling in my ears.
But these Sennheiser ones are brilliant, I can have them on my head for hours and hours without even noticing them. Yes, the frame is bulky but for a reason.

No problems with battery life (2xAAA) or cable length (because there isn't any).

Ok, let's see the two downsides, the reason why this baby only got 4 stars from me.
First of all, the sound is crisp and clear even from far away or close up but the bass could be much stronger or adjustable.
Second, the main unit (you have to plug it into the 220V outlet and the sound card of course) has the useful function of automatically turning on when it receives signal (sound from the PC) and turning off when there is no signal (after a good couple of seconds, to save battery time). The bad news is the headphones do not have these functions built in. You have to turn them on with a small switch on the left unit which is fine but when you finish listening to music or playing games and leave them on your head then the main unit switches off but the headphones don't. What you'll get is an annoying and fairly loud hissing noise.

If you can live with these two cons. then these are great quality and comfortable headphones. If I were to use the same budget limit I would buy these again.

easy set up just plug base in to your source and power supply, and put battery in the headphones. thats it!
These Sennheiser headphones give good levels and depth in sound quality. You can control volume from the headset. I can go all around the house, on different levels and in the garden and no drop (about 20m through several walls) in sound quality.
Battery life is very good, but if you can afford to pay a bit more go for the next model that has a charger built in to the base.
only down side is they are a bit bulky in shape so dont stay on well, walking about is fine but is you are moving around a lot more they might slip off!

These are the entry level headphones from Sennheiser but the qualitiy is obvious when you open the box. They look bulky but are realy comfy,you forget you have them on. The sound quality is excellent for music and movies giving a virtual surround sound effect and strong deep base with no distortion, only a slight ammount of background noise when turned up to max volume.With a range of up to 150 meters (works through solid stone walls!) you can listen to music and movies as loud as you want without fear of disturbing the neighbours.Excellent quality headphones for the price, I bought these elsewhere and paid £5 more, at this price I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

wicked headphones, great price and nice design. if i really had to pick at this product then it would be that the batteries arnt rechargable (hence why there is the more expensive pair, i recommend going for those) and they are comfy, light but maybe abit large for some people's taste. I am still extremely happy with them, no more wires....yay.

The quality of these headphones has pleased me so much that it's prompted me to write my first review!

First of all ease of use, brilliant. Simply plug in to your existing headphone socket, select an RF output channel and fiddle with the tuning dial on the headset for a few seconds and voila. All done. I didn't even look at the instructions. It also comes with a jack adapter so i could use it in my amp!

Quality: Fantastic, considering they're wirless i expected the occasional drop out a bit of background hiss etc but nothing. The sound clarity is amazing considering the lack of wires! Even the bass response is impressive.

Range: I'm not sure about 100m, but i have a 4 story town house, the receiver was in my room on the top floor, they wer still working perfectly in the kitchen on the botttom floor, through doors, walls, floors, they are quite amazing.

Recommend this product to anyone who has the need for wireless headphones. Top drawer for the price.
