Tips when using TV: Stopped working with TV after a few minutes - increase the volume setting of your TV - you might need to turn the volume control on the headphones down then as well - assuming that your headphone base unit is connected to the headphone socket of the TV. I want to listen to the TV on the speakers and Wireless headphones at the same time - On most televisions, inserting a plug in to the headphone (jack) socket will shut off the sound from the loudspeakers. On some TV's this is optional and controlled through a menu selection and on some TV's there is even a separate menu control for the headphone volume. If you are ever unsure whether you have a problem with a particular TV or with the RS 1xx headphones you can always test the RS 1xx headphones by plugging the jack plug in to another known good sound source with a headphone socket such as an MP 3 player or portable CD player. There are two adaptors available to enable you to connect the RS 1xx headphones to a television without using the headphone socket. One is for a TV with audio outputs on RCA connectors (also known as Phono connectors, small round sockets, one with a red centre and one with a white centre). Beware however that many TV's also have this same kind of socket fitted as inputs to allow connection of camcorders etc. so you do have to make sure that the sockets you are using are AF Outputs. The second adaptor allows you to use a spare SCART socket on the TV, if there is one available, to connect your headphones instead. The only issue with this option is that you will find that on many TV's you only hear the TV sound through the headphones even when playing a DVD or watching through a satellite receiver such as Sky+ box or other devices external to the TV. So if your TV has AF outputs provided on RCA or Phono connectors as mentioned above it will usually be best to use those.
