When I got my PSP on release date I bought 2 1GB Memory Sticks (1 Sony, 1 SanDisk) and they both cost me around £80 each. Then a couple of months ago Play.com were selling this 2GB version for £27.99, which I bought without hesitation. Now that it's down to £17.99 there is absolutely no excuse not to buy at least one of them. The 32mb stick I got with the PSP is, to be perfectly honest, useless in it's size. Why Sony thought it would be a good idea is beyond me so buying extra memory is pretty much the first thing to do just to make the PSP the multimedia experience it's supposed to be. Now some will argue that you should get 4GB or 8GB because more memory is better and that is true, but for most people the 2GB stick is perfectly adequate. I have around 4 hours of video, 130 mp3's, around 200 photo's, half a dozen demos plus all my game saves and downloaded content and still have 120mb free from the initial 2GB. So for me this size of memory stick is perfect because you can get a fair amount of things on it and it's at a very good price, plus if you need more room just buy another one for the very reasonable price of £17.99 (and will probably be even less in the not too distant future). You can also use these with the PS3 if you use the supplied adapter to view photos and listen to mp3's stored on the memory stick. Though a word of warning about doing this, when I tried it I couldn't get the thing back out of the PS3 as there wasn't enough of the thing poking out for me to grab and I ended up having to use a pair of pliers! But it worked perfectly other than that.
