This portable satellite kit is a great value, high quality Satgear kit - fantastic value, great quality. It has no LNB arm to get in the way and so is particularly handy when packing away. Other than that, its conventional in every way - use it to receive satellite channels using your own receiver and TV. Ideal for caravanning and camping trips when you have your own Sky or Freesat box. We provide a full 1 year warranty on everything This 48cm kit has an equivalent gain to a 65cm dish and so will work throughout the UK and many parts of Europe for UK TV from the Astra 2 satellites (for UK Free to Air and SKY channels). You can also use it to get foreign language channels from many other satellites. The kit includes: 48cm high quality Off-White satellite dish with unique convex surface and NO LNB ARM required Satfinder meter with connecting cable 10m high quality satellite coax cable with F-connectors Strong compact aluminium satellite tripod with pegs for ground fixing if required Full Satgear setup and dish alignment guide The dish is very high quality and designed for compact stowage and simple setup. The angle of the dish is adjusted on a smooth sliding mechanism for easy setup. The tripod is collapsible, compact and very strong. The neck allows rotation without tightening the clamp until you have set the correct direction. Note that this kit requires that you already have a Sky digibox, Freesat receiver or one of our Free to Air receivers and your TV! If you have a Freeview TV, you still need one of the receivers mentioned, which will then connect to your Freeview TV using a scart socket. Note, if you are travelling abroad, this kit is ideal for reception in many parts of Europe. It will cover the Benelux countries, all of France (even down to the South), but not far into Spain. For that we have an 80cm dish kit which will take you as far as Barcelona.
