After searching the internet and reading many reviews I narrowed it down to two possibles...then to this one, as it had all the features that I wanted to be able to carry out. When it arrived I must admit it does take a while to get to grips with everything that the Samsung DVD-SH897M 320GB has to offer, but saying that I am now more than happy with this machine. I used to have am older Panasonic DVD-Recorder which only accepted their own discs for most things, but these Panasonic discs Ram (RW) or (R) can be played, formatted used again and again so as not to waste precious discs. I wanted a change from Panasonic mainly due to their prices...I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a good all round recorder plus HDD to save using all your discs aswell. And thanx to Play for a great deal and free shipping also.
