If you only know the name of your destination and area ie Toys R Us Birmingham, this TomTom comes with a handy google search which you can use to find the place and then navigate to it.

Store places you visit often in a section called favorites this holds around 50 addresses if you want more then create a Point Of Interest folder all of your own then you can store hundreds of places
TUNNELS
This TomTom has a feature called Quick Fix GPS. a life saver as we all know you loose satalite fix when in a tunnel and with my old navman S Series i could have traveled a mile when i came out of a tunnel before i got a fix again, this Quickfix GPS gets this time down to just a few feet coming out of a tunnel.
These are just a few of it's packed out features if i listed them all my fingers would get cramp! LOL
OK Whats the catch i here you ask? here it is for the google search, fuel price search, HD Real traffic update, Weather and safety camera updates there is a subscription charge after the two month trial period it comes with. this is in my experiance worth it just to avoid those annoying speed cameras. but even if you choose not to subscribe all the data on camera locations etc you got upto the cut off date will still work as normal, you just dont get to find out where those new sneaky ones are. Basically turns your TomTom into a normal 4 star Sat Nav instead. This fee is for the use of the link to TomTom Services via the built in GSM chip like the one in your mobile so you dont get those costly bills from linking your own moile to get those extra services.
