The apps you can get on this are in a word, great ... you can get pocket god (where you can do things with lil guys called pygmies, you are their god), i love this app, you can also get cooking apps and other apps^.^ but i suppose it can get teddios, but for me it is a great bordem killer lol

New OS 3.0 Upgrade - Great new feature

I'm going to be honest here I haven't actually purchased this yet (I have used one though) and I'm actually in the process of buying it now. However, during my research I've come across some thing interesting (and not mentioned here).
It seems that Apple have released an OS upgrade for the IPOD touch OS 3.0 I don't know for sure but I'm guessing the the IPOD touch 2G doesn't come shipped with it and there is an extra cost of £5.99 for it. That said along with lots of other updates (check out the Apple website for more) OS 3.0 unlocks native BlueTooth!

If you're anything like me the lack of BlueTooth has held you back from purchasing the new IPOD well for an extra £6 you can have it all,,,, That said you still have to use iTunes....

Software failure and Screen freezing

Buy the 16GB 2nd generation at your own risk. Great piece of hardware if it works that is. I've owned 3 of these and each one the screen keeps freezing and have had software failure with them all. I've given up on them, taking back my refund, and reverting back to my trusty Generation 1 ipod touch, which has never let me down. You've been warned
