Intermitent at best. found myself having to angle the transmitter/ reciver to get any signal. When this was achived the ir barely worked at all having to literally tape the ir transmitter to the ir eye on the box where the signall was coming from. I was only using it over a max distance of 10 feet with only one partition wall inbetween. poor effort. threw it in a box after a few weeks and havent looked back!

  Very poor product.

This is very easy to install. Just plug it in and go. Unfortunately though it simply isn't capable of the task for which it was designed. Although I managed to watch a 50 minute show from a DVD player in another room, the next time I tried to use if there was massive interference on the screen and the programme was unwatchable. Other reviewers say to change the channel and ensure that there is no wireless network nearby which is interfering but obviously the problem was neither of these as it did work fine for a whole 50 minutes! It is now gathering dust and the 14.99 pricetag lost to experience :-(

  question about product??

Hi
just wondering if you can control the television that you are trying to transmit, the same as the one that is transmitting with a universal remote???

Did a lot of searching around and reading blogs on the performance of different av senders which generally said they were all poor. Threw that all out of the window when I saw this and just went for it as it was the cheapest I found! Had a play around with it on different frequency channels and found 4 was the best for my house. It is SO clear, could not be happier having heard how bad all senders were - the signal is as good as the tv downstairs.

2 tips -

1.) Play around with the channels on the bottom of both the sender and receiver but make sure they are both on the same one when trying it.

2.) When testing it don't sit right in front of the tv and receiver as this will effect it. Just sit where you normally would when watching.

Enjoy.
