Sennheiser CX300 II Precision ECO Headphones / Black

Earphones are excellent sounding and for the price - you can't go wrong. However, that's only for 2 months! After that the left earphone has cut out so sound only comes in through the right 'phone. Play.com have agreed to provide a replacement at the 2nd time of asking. 1st time they tried to fob me off saying that I had to contact the manufacturer first! If this happens to you - don't fall for it! If the fault occurs in the 1st year of warranty then play.com provide the refund/exchange. Hope this helps.

Well, I ordered these on Tuesday and came on Friday morning Great! Delivery, I have a theory for Play.com deliveries. Apperently if you order something on Monday it will come on Thursday and Tuesday it will come on Friday and so on. The Earphones are GENUINE really small packaging. Nicely wrapped didn't get a dispatch email though :(.
But the item is superb. Great bass (if you put the right bud and properly in and the right earphone for your ear which helps! I compared these with the Sony X-Bass MDR-XB20EX In-Ear Headphones and are even better. It comes with carrys case three different sixed buds and plenty of layers of cardboard the earphones are so good and isolate so much sound that you can hear your mind!lol anyway i rate these 5STARS Please read the review it is helpful for some people.

I have just thrown away my second pair of these...... They look and sound great, great value. However, one ear started to get quieter and quieter.... so bought pair number 2 and exactly the same thing happened. Sorry, but now on a different make..... cheap doesn't mean a bargain in this case

I originally got these ear buds to replace my Phillips that died from over use. Word of warning! They are not very tough! I had mine for a day, worked perfectly, sound to play your mind! But come the next day, I go to work, just hand the earphones round my neck, tucked them into my shirt, didn't stress them or anything, and now the left ear has lost all bass... So these earbuds are good if you can spend time constantly packing them away, bad if you expect them to survive an hour hanging around your neck.

The CX300II was delivered swift from Play and comes in a funky little eco friendly box. The headphones themselves look pretty smart and come with different ear bud sizes to suit all.
Detail wise the CX300II is very good but try as I might I could not get any bass out of this and that included messing around with the cowons settings and it has tons of them. The sony on the other hand while lacking a touch of detail was good with bass.
The HD200 outshines them both by a mile but these are Closed circumaural stereo headphones, but still seeing all these raving reviews of the CX300II I expected some sort of challenge.
For all those people who will suggest that the earphone was not inserted probably this was not the case. Trust me I tryed every way possible to insert these right and then some!

Lastly Im no What Hi-fi reviewer, but was DJ'ing back in the early 90's and think I know my music well enough to give decent advice.
So bottom line, if you like your bass, stay well clear!!
For those that like good detail and no bass, these may be a good choice.
