do it again
a quality bluray player that does every thing you want it to do and a the budget price
picture and sounds is amazing and it will even play dvd and your divx files in a higher Format
forget sony and samsung this is the new daddy

Fantastic player. I plugged it into my broadband router and let it upgrade itself which it did happily. Not a single issue. the new firmware even let me watch divx movies from a USB key.
Extremely pleased with it, the only gripe I has is that it would not recognise a USB Hard drive to play from.
I'd recommend this to anyone.

 Firmware upgrade bricked the machine

Nice player but when I carried out a firmware upgrade it bricked the machine. I then had to return it. When I got the replacement I carried out the same firmware upgrade as before it also bricked the machine. Not happy at having to get another replacement so have voted 1 star for this experience.

Bought this player from ElectricalDeals and it was delivered the next day. The reason i went for this was because of the price. I don't need top of the range player just something that does what it says on the box. Only downside is the remote is not as good as others and battries not included. It would have been nice if the player came with a hdmi cable but you can't have everything i suppose. 5 stars for playback quality of the blu-rays.

This Philips BDP3000 Blu-ray disc player is absolutely fantastic! I am using this via HDMI with the Samsung Series 4 450 32" LE32B450 LCD TV.

I have recently purchased a few Blu-ray discs, Inglorious Basterds, The Dark Knight, Children Of Men and Planet Earth to name but a few all of which look incredible with my current setup. The 1080 24p Real Movie mode really does give a cinema-quality to the visuals. I would whole heartedly recommend this bargain Blu-ray disc player to anyone looking to get started in the wonderful world of HD.
