Not bad but not iPhone compatible

iPhone users
I bought this before I realised that you need to look specifically for the iPhone logo on a box when picking up a dock. The iPhone does work but occassionally comes up with the dreaded compatibility warning and then doesn't charge when on the mains. While linked by USB, though, it works fine and if playing music you need to switch to airplane mode (which means you can't take calls).

Everyone Else
For all other iPods this dock is great. Not only can it charge, play music through the fairly good speakers and fold flat but it also comes with a USB connection and lead so that you don't have to fiddle around with a USB lead in your PC or Mac all the time.

The speakers are fine on normal volume, but I wouldn't recommend this for parties as turning it up loud can distort the sound.

  OK and small but

The BAD: Sound is very tinny and distorts when the volume is turned up. If you like nice sounding music then dont buy this. If you just want to hear very average sound from your Ipod then it is fine for some background music.

I brought these speakers along with a nano 4th G for my 10 year olds birthday and wernt to sure if i had done the right thing because both are really small, but i was gladly impressed. These speakers are fantastic, the sound is great. This little set does reach quite a volume, but must admit mind if volume up to the full it does distort a bit, ideal for wot my little boy needs, also would be perfect for a kichen or laundry room.this is well worth every penny, you will be nicely supprised.

I bought these for the kitchen as they were small, wasn't expecting much to be honest. They are brilliant and are really loud for there size. they only down side is they do like to eat batteries if you are playing them loudly etc,and the sound distorts really badly as soon as they start to wear down.

  great value for money

at my first site of the logic 3 i station 3,i thought it was rather small and would be a big disappointment but after plugging my i pod in i soon realised that this was not true.the sound isn't the best when at it's max but for the amount it cost wat do you expect but it is rather loud for the size of it.it is ideal for your first speaker set for using in the bedroom and also ideal for taking on holidays.i really recommend this set to others.

Not Something You Want For Longer Playlists

This was my first speaker system for my first ipod. For the price i must say it didnt live up to the quality i would expect. The bass from some of my lightest tracks beat these speakers, and the little silver discs are huge problem. When they get even the slightest imperfection in them, a small scratch or dent, the volume cant be raised above minimal level or the track distorts. The clip holding the speakers upright is also prone to breaking easily.

Overall, for first speakers its ok but i wouldnt recommend using them for anything more than rare use and charging your ipod as the sound quality is pretty poor.

4 stars for value for money

Ordered this just before my holiday, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. However for the price, I was more than happy. Don't expect Ministry of Sound bass from this thing, but it folds up nice and small and provided some music for the poker nights whilst keeping the iPod charged.
