some people said the item is rubbish, but what do they expect a miricle indoor antenna? the item amplifies well. it wont perform a miricle, there needs to be a signal to start with. if this dont work then you need a roof mounted antenna.

some people said item is flimsy? its 4mm thick, what do they expect? its designed to be hidden anyway. the item is good quality, and works well. really no complains.

only think i wanted was 2 coax cables included not just one.

half the price of argos, 15 qiud, bargain.

  Perfection takes time...

Yes, the aerial is great and I can pick up every single free view channel/radio station, but it does take a long time of trail and perfection to get it in the right place to pick up these channels. The length of the cable is quite short if you have to move the aerial a short distance away from the TV/free view box and I had to purchase an extension for the aerial to work at its best. This was a last try, before I was going to get a roof aerial, and I am glad I purchased this!

I purchased this for my daughters bedroom TV. The picture quality is top notch and it managed to find a phenomenal number of radio and TV channels. I must admit that I was a bit sceptical at first about some of the reviews on here but was very pleasantly surprised to find they were correct.

I would very strongly reccommend to others looking for a cheap but very effective indoor bedroom aerial.

I bought a new tv last year and had about 5 channels on it. Then one day they suddenly disappeared. I tried about 5 different ariels and none of them worked. Saw this when i was browsing the other day and decided to give it a go. Only 12.99 at the time so not too much of a waste if it didn't work. Had it delivered yesterday and when i went to use it last night it worked straight away. When scanning for channels though i'd recommend doing it a few times as i got 10 channels the first time i did it, 31 the next and then 75 after that. Now i can finally watch tv in my room after a year of not having it!

  Totally useless

I have a small TV in a bedroom that doesn't have a connection to a roof aerial, so I currently use a set top aerial that I bought from Woolies 20 years ago. As I can only pick up 5 stations, I decided to buy this aerial, based on the reviews on Play.com.
The reception is useless....I have tried moving it all over the place, but I can only pick up 1 station, and that is very poor. I will try a TV coaxial cable, as somebody else has suggested, but I shouldn't have to.
In the meantime, it's back to my 20 year old Woolies' aerial.

  BRILLIANT!

If in doubt, try this out. I read the reviews, and on the strength of them alone risked the purchase of this item. It took five mins to install and within seconds found 99 digital channels, and we live in a weak signal area, off my main aerial I only get 72 channels, reasonably small and discreet and a really great price and I will be buying more. Remember you can always return it if you're not satisfied, I doubt very much you will be sending it back though. Five stars for a five star item.

doesn't work straight out of the box !

Tried this antenna on all the tvs in the house and got no reception at all. I was about to send it back when i read a review from someone who tried replacing the cable supplied in the box with a coaxial aerial cable. I tried this and it actually works, i can't get all the freeview channels but the ones i can get are good quality.

  Happy customer South Cheshire, UK

Fantastic Product, great quality reception on a TV which previous aerials failed. At 15pounds it's a bargain, although even at full price would be a excellent product.

  The perfect solution

I've always hated electronics and messing around with trying to find the perfect TV signal. This product was probably the best 15 pounds I've spent in months. It plugs into the back of the TV, sits behind it and picks up all the Freeview channels you'd expect from a roof aerial. I highly recommend this product.
