  Cheap... and very nasty

Felt like i had to add a quick review here as all the 4 star reviews led me astray! Whilst I realize the price is almost putting these in the realm of a magazine freebie the quality of sound is so poor it boarders on unlistenable. I wasnt expecting the earth but the sound from these is like listening to someone elses headphones while you sit next to them. Poor distorted sound at times and I needed to turn my ipod up full to be able to hear with anything like clarity. I use these on my bike (cant hear due to the amount of wind noise and the buds fall out) and at work (co-workers have been playing name that tune due to these somehow being louder to the outside world than they are to your own ears). I actually considered if the speakers had been installed the wrong way around they are that bad. I gave a generous 2 stars due to them producing sound and having quick delivery. To sum up Avoid!

  absolutely amazing!

i often find with earphones they don't quite sit in your ear properly and you're forever trying to put them back in, but these ones sit perfectly, they are comfortable, and the sound they give out is incredible too! have been using ipod headphones all my life, but when i got my blackberry i found they didnt work, so i bought these jvc headphones instead and they are perfect for my blackberry as well as my ipod. very very pleased with these! :)

  Good...But dont last long

I bought these headphones some time ago and all though they had brilliant sound quality, after approximately two months one of the ear pieces started to buzz and then stopped working and shortly afterwards the same thing happened with the other earpiece, But since owning these headphones I've been using a different make of headphones called sennheiser, which I would recommend. Overall the JVC Ear gumy headphones are good value for money but however be prepared to buy some more in the future because they wont last long.

  Brilliant value for money

I admit, for the fiver i spent on these lil guys it was well worth it, brilliant sound quality though i admit they dont blow your head off....which is good i guess! im on my 4th pair because i am very clumsy and i leave them lying around and i step on them or close them in my car door! Brilliant value for money, couldnt complain

Completely unenjoyable to listen to when used with my mp3 player. Just binned immediately. Will spend a bit more

These are not the Bassiest or best quality earphones i have owned (ipod and Philips are alot better quality) But they are soo cheap that you cant really go wrong. Given these a 4 star due to their rediculous Value for money :) Perfect to see you through untill you can afford a better set :) or just as spare set

  Ideal For The Gym.

For me, these are far better at the gym than iPod headphones; they stay in the ear better and are far more resilient to sweat. The last pair I bought have just given up the ghost after two years of solid gym wear - not bad for a fiver! Sound quality not quite as good as iPod headphones, but certainly not bad. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

After all the positive review I thought I'd buy them, and personally I don't think there as good as iPod ear phones. The sound in a way feels tinted, like it's coming from the other room, not as powerfully as iPod ones. I'm a bit dissapointed, after 5 5* reviews I thought they'd be awesome, but there not.
