Was using my ps3 before i brought this player and i was very pleased from the moment i got it out of the box. It looks the nuts and the picture on my 50" pioneer 508 plasma is outstanding. The sound is fantastic also!!

Ive been watching you for a long time!!!!!!

Been after this beauty for a while. Ironically I had decided this Blu-ray player long time before deciding/getting a new a TV. Well now I have the new TV hooked up to this new player and I it's awesome.

Just watched all the Harry potters, Wolverine and Pelham 123 and im just hooked on the quality of picture.

Highly recommended..... Pioneer is a great brand and it's a shame they stopped making the TVs.

 Best player for sensible money

I was impressed at the picture quality of my Sony BDP S360 (my first Blu ray player) until I got this. It's just amazing how much detail a Blu ray contains and how much of it can't be seen without the right player. The Sony has been relegated to the bedroom. Downside is that it's a slow operator when starting up, but if you're prepared to wait an extra 20 seconds, your patience is rewarded.

There are details seen with this player that I just haven't seen before when watching the same film on the Sony.

Don't get me wrong - the Sony is a great player at it's price point, but if you're willing to pay the extra then the Pioneer is well worth it.

 Glitchy, very glitchy!

Had this player for over a year partnered with a kuro screen and amp and whilst a cannot fault picture and sound quallity which is astounding, Reliability is poor, on many occasions it would simple refuse to play perfectly good disks only for it to work the following day, and then not the next! no amount of firmware updates ever fixed its glitchy performance

Go for the Sony BDP-370 - equal in picture and sound, less than half the price, and it plays your films when you want it to! - an absolute bargin !

 Twitchy

Picture and sound are fine but mine got twitchy after the 12 month warranty had just expired - would play a perfect disk one day but on another day the same disk got the player in such a state that the only way to resolve the issue was to remove the power cord. Pioneer not interested as warranty expired. Looking to replace it after 14 months service. I won't be choosing another Pioneer.
