I'm always wary of reviews that start "I got this yesterday..." as they tend be clouded by the excitement of getting a new toy, but... I got this last night and it really is impressive. It is a nice weight, not too heavy to move around the house but doesn't slide back when you press the buttons which is important as they are on the front. Using is easy as it is controlled in the main by the big dial on the front. It is driven by menus and sub menus that are pretty clear and intuitive. Sound is good too being a lot better than you should expect from the single speaker on the front. Speech is clear and music is well defined. The finish is good (matches our kitchen perfectly) and the screen is clear. The website is easy to use to set up favourites and the number of stations you can pick from is mind-blowing! There are a couple of downsides though. The box it came in looked like it had been kicked around the warehouse with all 4 corners crushed. It doesnt appear to have affected the radio as it all works and is in perfect condition but made me wary when opening. The other downside is the switchgear; the buttons on the front are tiny. If you don't have fingernails, you might have problems! There are 2 main knobs, the small one for volume and large one for menus and selecting options. The large one is a bit plasticky compared to the nice piano black finish and feels a little flimsy. All in all a great buy. With radios like this, DAB is already dead!!
