I was previously using a PHILLIPS MW-F777 game port midi-system to play my i-tunes, PS3, Wii and TV through. This stereo was absolutely awesome, with its liquid cooled speakers and deep base it made films, games and music 10 times better. However, I was looking for something that gave as much of a punch, looked smooth and sleek and could dock my i-pod directly. I was thinking a docking station for 90pounds couldn't really compare but it would do until I got a top name brand.... Oh how wrong was I??? This is a phenomenal piece of kit!! The sound is really clear and crisp and the bass is really heavy. Its loud, looks really good and well worth the price. Compared to my mates BOSE (which cost in excess of 350pounds) there is no difference in sound quality at all!!! I wont be upgrading this at all, but instead showing it off and turning it up!!! Well recommended and I can guarantee my friends will be on here soon purchasing the same thing!!!

I usually read these reviews with a lot of scepticism as quality of a product is an opinion rather than an objective description.
But for this one, I got off my lazy arse and had to say:
this product is fan-flippin-tastic. Came in today, 3 days after I ordered it. Took me about 2 minutes to set it up and set the digital clock. Then the fun began - the sound is amazing, the depth of the sound is out of this world. It is precisely what I was looking for - works with Sky, TV, computer and DVD. My hat down to who ever made this as it is really amazing. It is bulky, sturdy and it sounds amazing. If you are looking for a main piece and if you don't live in a mansion, this is the product for you - if I put the volume to about 60% I can hear it in 2 rooms, kitchen and garden.
thumbs up!

Everything I expected after reading the reviews already posted.

It's about A3 size, as already mentioned, which doesn't make it the most portable of docks. However, in terms of sound quality and usability it does exactly what I had hoped from it.

Sound is loud (although not as ear-splitting as some would have you believe) and control of my iPhone 3GS with the remote is easy as pie (doesn't need to be in flight mode so you can still receive calls).

Overall it has lived up to expectations and offers very good value for money, really pleased with it. Only minor issue is the lack of length on the power cable (it's 1m or so maximum).

The Best iPod Dock I've Ever Had

So many things about this dock are great. So I'll try and list just some of them.

The Loudness - I dare not crank it up to max volume as it shakes the room, it's great, especially with the adjustable treble and bass booster.
Beasty - This may sound stupid, but it looks nice and it's quite big, roughly A3 size of paper on top and about 15cm tall.
The Remote and Volume Dial - It houses various buttons on the actual dock itself however the only one you will really need to use is the volume dial. The remote is great as you can do just about anything on it, change track on your iPod, adjust the bass, treble and volume and so much more. Meaning you can easily sit back in a chair and just press a button to put on your favorite tunes, it couldn't be simpler!

And as far as value for money goes, the previous dock I owned before this one was 75GBP, and to be fair, it was rubbish. By comparison, for 90GBP this is great value for money. You could go into a high street store and easily pay 150GBP for this and still think it was great value for money, the sound quality is great and so this dock is a must have.

Crank It Up To Max Volume If You Dare...

Can anyone tell me if I could connect my CD Player to this speaker system? I have some educational CDs which I need to play music from and dont want to buy a speaker system with a CD Player built in. Thanks.

Just had this and so far tried a few different types of music through it. Really well built, solid and nice gloss finish. The sound is brilliant for the size, with good treble and deep base. Recommended without hesitation!!
Had for a month now and it just gets better and better. Will be getting another for another room.
