Fantastic high quality picture on this player ,, this model not only plays all your blu ray discs, but will also play all standard dvds and copy discs and it upscales them to virtual hd ,, when connected via the hdmi connection ,,
This model is highly recommended
Picture and sound are first rate and it's use is very straightforward. Problem is I've had difficulties loading some blu-ray discs with a lot of extras on them, and it really seems to have a hard time with some of my older dvds. I figure the technology is still new, so it's easily forgiven considering the quality at hand but I will definitely be keeping an eye out for a smoother player in the near future. Once again though, to stress it's pro's - The sound and picture are beautiful.
Eventually plucked up the courage and bought this player for 72.99, a few days later dropped by a fiver.
Overall very pleased, looks simplistic and classy (and i hate Samsung). Excellent picture quality. I'd say save your money and buy this - can't see it being any less good than the more expensive stuff on offer. I'm glad i didn't pay upwards of 150 for a panasonic et al.
Had one of these for over a year now,it upscales DVD very well indeed,my only niggle is that when i play a brand new blu-ray it tends to pause sometimes,but other than that its worth the money.
