Veho VSS-001-360 / 360 Portable Rechargable Speaker For iPod/MP3 Players with 3.5mm Socket

I originally bought this for use on my net book as the inbuilt speaker was sub par.

It works brilliantly on my net book very loud and very clear this is a lot better than those larger speaker sets which use disposable battery's that I've used in the past.

It's size is minuscule it's smaller than the palm of my hand and fits neatly in my pocket but when it's in use it's volume is ridiculously high, the clarity holds out to high volumes and doesn't distort at all.

As a test I plugged it into my mp3 player and was impressed again by it's clarity and volume, it fills a room with sound even above people talking.

Originally I was going to buy one of these and if it wasn't loud enough I'd buy 2 and use an audio splitter but now I don't need to, it's amazingly loud for something so small. highly recommended a truly innovative little product.

I recieved this mini speaker today. It's mini indeed! I have given it a fair test already and am very happy and impressed. I tried it quite a lot at high volume and gave myself a bit of an earache! The sound doees fill the room and has a lot of impact, yet at the same time delivers clarity and quality of sound across the range with only slight distortion at extreme levels with some kinds of music. At full volume, I could hear it comfortably at the back of the house from the front. I even had the funny thought of getting complaints from the neighbours! I would have told them it is a tiny portable speaker, they would have come in for a demonstration, been suitably impressed and said 'I'm getting one of those!' There are two sound levels, with the on switch in the middle position giving a lower volume output. Turning the two parts of the case in opposite directions allows the speaker to be opened and extended a little. This adjusts the sound from a more focussed sound from the top to a slightly more widely propagating sound from the sides as well. The only limitation I see is the very short length of the 3.5 mm jack cable. Not a problem for instance having your mp3 player right next to it when plugged in, but maybe awkward in other situations when you need the speaker further from the socket you are connecting to. Easily solved by the purchase of a single (or double) output extension cable at absolutely minimal cost. The cost of the speaker itself made it a real baragin. I won't give the price I paid, but let's just say it was exactly half of a hard-earnt tenner. The Veho 360 Portable Speaker is an excellent mini speaker and I am confident you will make the right choice and then agree with me!

People have said it was tiny but when it arrived i was amazed just how small it is. If this has put you off you have the wrong idea its extremely loud for its size. Good quality to although it may struggle on songs with huge Bass. All together its a great purcchase and well worth the money :)

I first saw the size of the Veho 360 and was a bit disappointed thinking it couldn't be as loud as i wanted or to have a decent sound and bass quality but then i plugged it into my ipod and i was amazed it is very very loud for how small it is and also has a very decent sound quality, it is great just to carry around in your bag and is small enough to just keep in a pocket , its amazing and is worth every penny and more.
